New Orleans Pasta Sauce is a unique favorite for many pasta lovers. Its spicy
accent and special blend of herbs and vegetables makes your pasta robust and
exciting. Makes approximately 2 cups of sauce or 4 servings.
New Orleans Pasta Sauce
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Add 1cup water, New Orleans
Pasta Sauce and stir well. Cook for 10 minutes. Add 1 cup cream, or
half and half, or whole milk and cook on low heat for another 10 minutes.
Serve with cooked pasta.
Tomato Pasta Sauce
Mix 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine. Add one 14-16 oz can of stewed
tomatoes, ½ cup of water and entire contents of New Orleans Creole Pasta
Sauce Seasoning Blend. Mix well. Simmer over very low heat
for 15-20 minutes. Serve with cooked pasta.
Hints: If desired, sauce can be used with ¼ to 1 lb. of
cooked ground meat, chicken, and seafood.
Ingredients: Dehydrated: tomato (includes 1% silicon dioxide), garlic, bell
pepper: sugar, chicken stock, herbs & spices (including oregano, basil, thyme,
black and cayenne pepper, tarragon), dehydrated celery, salt.
